At 118 NW 1st Street stands a concrete block/stucco firehouse with one overhead door. Behind this building, this siren is mounted atop a three-sided tower. The siren consists of two rows of eight horns each. Beneath the siren is a small round platform with guard rail. Several business band antennas are also mounted here.
To the east, in back of the newer firehouse, a second siren is located less than 100 ft. away.
