The "Geary Star" is a weekly paper which began publishing in 1930. Its current editor is Elesha Bingham. The paper comes out on Thursdays and is available in print, and in a ePaper version online. The paper is also available at newstands in Geary, Watonga, Hinton and Calumet.
The paper publishes local news and sports, Native American news, plus community events and obituaries. It is located in the Brake Building at 114 S. Broadway in downtown Geary. This is a one-story tan brick building constructed in 1910.
The building is currently occupied by two businesses, which apparently use the same entrance. On the left is the local newspaper, and on the right is a "general store" called Country Cousins.
The Star can be contacted at 405-884-2424
