Harold Reynolds was born in Lewisham, Kent, England in 1891. He was an unmarried baker who was travelling to Toronto, Canada in order to work with a fellow baker who had previously migrated to Toronto. He when the RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and sank east of off Nova Scotia while on her maiden voyage from Southampton, England to New York City.
His body, #327, was recovered on May 10, 1912 by the Canadian Government Steamship Montmagny, which was chartered by the White Star Line to search for bodies in the aftermath of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. His remains were brought to Halifax, NS and buried in Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Halifax, NS on May 22, 1912.
One of the larger headstones, erected by his family, marks the grave of Harold Reynolds. A 4' tall granite block is inscribed:
