The memorial marker of W.J. "Jack" Davis, O.B.E., President of Rotary International from 1977-1978.
The marker features a bronze sundial on top of a polished white granite stone. The base features the details of his service as a Rotarian.
Mr Davis was born in nearby Foxboro in 1909. He became a Rotarian in Hamilton, Bermuda in 1943 and served for 38 years in a variety of capacities. In 1977 he became President of Rotary International.
He died 1 April, 1981 and is buried in Hamiton, Bermuda.
