Located in front of the Butte Creek Mill are two unique manhole covers. This fish cover is located on the south side of the street and contains stamping on the plate that reads:

The illustration depicts a fish jumping out of water with the state of Oregon in the background. There is also a small illustration of a sewer truck above the state.
These covers are located in front of the very historical Butte Creek Mill, a flour mill that's been in continuous operation since 1872 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
