This gazebo is at the southern end of Thompson Park located at Main and Johnston Streets. The gazebo is of wood construction and has a bench running along most of the interior perimeter. The roof is cedar shake. The interior of the gazebo is unlighted.

This small pocket park is located at Main and Johnston Streets. The park contains public restrooms, a gazebo, benches, and landscaping. It's a really nice place to stop and rest while shopping along Main Street. The park is named for Audrey Thompson, who was instrumental in getting buildings in Hardy named to the National Register. The text on the Marker reads:
