This grey metal disk is embedded in the top of a low concrete wall that comprises the head gate controlling water flow from the Eastern Canal to a subsidiary canal. In an arc across the top of the disk is engraved SRP. Below that are the initials BM. On the lower middle is stamped 32.5 E 3.7 S. On the bottom is stamped 20 01 with the 01 being in smaller type. The benchmark can be found approximately 57.2 feet southeast of the southern rail of the railroad track crossing the Eastern Canal at a heading of 216.26 degrees from the rail.
