Fr: Situé au cœur de la basse ville, Saint-Nicolas, fondé au 12 ème siècle, est aujourd’hui la plus vieille église de Boulogne sur mer. C'est en 1208 que cette église est citée pour la première fois, elle fut dédiée au saint patron du monde de la mer : Saint-Nicolas. Elevée sur la Place Dalton, pittoresque place pavée, la façade et la nef du XVIIIesiècle, remodelées par Giraux Sannier, prolongent un transept et un choeur remontant à la période gothique.
En: Located in the heart of the lower town, Saint-Nicolas, founded in the 12th century, is today the oldest church in Boulogne sur Mer.
It is in 1208 that this church is mentioned for the first time, it was dedicated to the patron saint of the sea world: Saint-Nicolas. High on Dalton Place, picturesque cobbled square, the facade and nave of the eighteenth century, reshaped by Giraux Sannier, extend a transept and a choir dating back to the Gothic period.
