At the so-called 'Siebentäler', a valley between Bad Niedernau and Weiler, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists an old historical oven für limestones. It can be found at the 'Ziegelhütte'.
In 1658 a oven for bricks has been built. It was in use until 1906. Then a new oven for limestones was built. It was in use until 1957.
The temperature inside the oven was 900°.

The oven itself is protected by a wooden roof.
