This barn quilt was one of the main reasons that our trip took us through Houlton.

It was not because this is a particularly striking or historic quilt, to our knowledge. It was simply because we didn't have one yet.

This quilt is on the corner of Military Street and Highway 2, right in town, northwest of the intersection on a rise, making it easily visible from the intersection. It's mounted on the east end of a gambrel roofed storage shed/barn.
Your Visit:
After we visited this quilt, we discovered a treasure trove of them in another country, but I'm not going to divulge their whereabouts until we have time to waymark them.
