Pomnik Poleglym i Pomordowanym na Wschodzie (Monument to those who died and were murdered on the east) is the monument dedicated to the memory to the Polish victims of Soviet Union, especially those murdered in concentration camps during WWII.

The monument is created by Maksymilian Biskupski, and was opened on 17th September 1995, on the anniversary of Russian aggression on Poland in 1939.
The monument is dedicated to all Polish citizens who were murdered in Soviet concentration camps or died during deportations. After the invasion on Poland, Soviet Union started deporting the members of Polish elite, especially the officers and the people with high university degrees, because they were considered dangerous for new regime.
The monument consists of 2 parts: a railway wagon with many crosses, and 42 rails with names of infamous places in Soviet Union, where many people has died (concentration camps, execution sites etc.)
