The memorial is a brick obelisk , the upper sides contain the names of all the men from Beenup, Armadale, Bedfordale and Armadale West who enlisted from the district in World War One. On the lower level is a plaque dedicated to those who fell during World War 2 and Korea. In May 1956 the obelisk was moved to the Memorial Park from its former location.
