Rosie is partnered by PC Ellis, another young officer. The Inspector assigns PC Dudley to take the two young officers under his wing. Unfortunately Rosie and Ellis have helped a dear old lady get back into her car, after she locked herself out, only to find later on that she is a car thief.
Meanwhile the Penrose family is joining Gillian’s family at a cheese and wine party in aid of the church roof. Gillian’s father has hidden the wine so that he can leave the party to get more wine, in order to get away from Millie. Unfortunately the vicat tasks Millie to accompany Gillian’s father to the off licence.
