The Hitchock Memorial Bandstand in Johnstone Park was built by Howard Hitchcock as a memorial to his mother in 1919.The bandstand has a circular base and a square roof supported by three uprights in each corner, the base is cement rendered and the roof is made of copper. There are scrolls on three sides with one having a dedication :-
