Growing up in Klamath Falls, I've witnessed the Crater Lake Creamery in this building first-hand as a child. There was once a small storefront that acted as a coffee and soda shop where patrons could order sandwiches, ice cream and the best milkshakes in town. The creamery closed around 1980 and was an empty building for many years until being bought by a couple of business partners and turned into a micro-brewery (known as the Klamath Basin Brewing Company), pub and grill where it still functions today. The original dairy cow neon sign was refurbished and still hangs in front of the former creamery reminding the older generation of locals of the past establishment that once existed here.
This restaurant/brewpub is one of two buildings that were part of the original creamery. The other building still exists (although empty) and is located at the corner of Spring Street and Esplanade Ave.
