The Robert Scott House is an example of the California Craftsman style of architecture. It was located in Mesa's original town plat at the corner of First and Sirrine Streets. Due to economic growth of the area it was moved to its present location in 1972. It is approximately 6 miles from the original setting. Robert Scott was a wealthy sheep grower and landowner. This house was one of the first large, formal residences in Mesa. Its current owner has maintained both the structural integrity and interior design features of the Craftsman style.
