The RSL Club occupies a prominent site in the central business district. The Royal Hotel, destroyed in a fire in 1940, was erected on the site in 1877. There were plans to build the shire office on the site but in the end, the RSL was built here.
It is open 7 days per week & has a bistro, an auditorium & a sporting club.
