Audrey Irene Plumlee Clifton was born on 16 January 1912 and passed away on 27 January 2013, over 101 years old. She was born Audrey Plumlee in Rocky Comfort and married Roy Carl Clifton in 1930. Roy passed away in 2003 after 73 years of marriage. (They had moved to Humboldt, Kansas in 2001, after living in Newton County, Missouri all their lives until then.)

Audrey gardened and canned. She liked to do quilting, reading, word puzzles and playing dominoes. She was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church in Rocky Comfort.
