Memorial to Sirius the Rescue Dog, who was killed in his Kennel beneath the World Trade Center on the morning of September 11. His handler, Officer David Lim was buried up to the waist in debris, but did manage to survive.

His plaque is affixed to the 9/11 Memorial located in the park.

Sirius, a yellow Labrador Retriever, was the only Rescue dog to die during the attacks. There were over 350 Rescue Dogs that combed the ruins of the WTC for survivors after the attacks. They manage to find at least 5 survivors.

Sirius' remains were recovered by Officer Lim on 2 January, 2002, when they were finally uncovered.
