A damaged cut mark on the north-west buttress of this brick-built Victorian Church.

There is quite a bit of damage showing on this cut-mark, a German bomb exploded not far away and the west end of the church was damaged with the whole west window being blown out. Some of the original glass was salvaged and placed in the replacement window seen today.

The bench mark is on the south face of the north-west buttress and was last verified in 1962 as being 52.298m above Newlyn Datum and is 0.500m above ground. It is very difficult to see requiring just the right direction of light to cast the shadow needed.
