The Commons contains various mounuments to veterans who served in WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Civil War and one monument convering Afganistan, Iraq and other skimishes. Interesting there is not a memorial to WWII.
This community was one place of the earliest beginnings of the American Industrial Revolution. The town was named after the Earl of Uxbridge, in Uxbridge, England.
