This Presbyterian church was dedicated on June 14, 1903 and was an active fellowship until 1972. It is named for T.B. Ferguson, a founding pioneer who ran a local newspaper and was the 6th Territorial Governor of Oklahoma Territory.
In 1992, local residents organized a foundation, obtained the funds and gave their voluntary labor to restore this quaint church building. Today, it is used by the community for various local events. It is doubtful that the bell is currently rung.
This is a one-story clapboard building, with an attic and a basement with an outside entrance. The roof is cross-gabled, and the bell tower rises on the southwest corner above the entrance. The base of the tower is clapboard, rising to its own four-sided roof on top of which is a four-sided, open bell chamber. This cupola is made of wood, has low railings, and contains a single bell. Above this area is another four-sided roof.
Triple windows on each side have arched fanlights above. The windows on either side of the entrance are single with pointed tops and contain stained glass. Fanlight windows in the attic also have stained glass.
If you close your eyes, you can hear the bell ringing out and calling the local Christians to worship.
