On top of the so-called 'Narrenbrunnen' (Fools Fountain) which is a nice fountain in Schömberg, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is a sculpture of a so-called 'Blätzle' located. It can be found at the 'Marktplatz'.
The sculpture was originally built in 1964 by Alfred Sessler. It consisted of linden wood. In 1980 it was replaced by a metal replica.
A 'Blätzle' is one of the traditional figures of carneval in Schömberg.
The sculpture is created life-sized.
