IN MEMORY OF PIERRE BARLOW CORNWALL
OF MANSFIELD LODGE No. 35, OHIO
In 1848 Bro. Cornwall carried the charter granted by the
Grand Lodge of Missouri authorizing the institution of Multnomah
Lodge at Oregon City, O.T. At Fort Hall he entrusted the charter
to Master Masons Orrin and Joseph Kellogg. And they completed
his mission. The grand lodge of Washington traces its history
from Multnomah, THE FIRST MASONIC LODGE ON THE PACIFIC COAST.
