The White Hart has a rather unimposing looking southern extension which doesn't really fit into the general 'look' of the High Street, but try it for pizzas.

The original pub building is the late C18th, two-storey, three-bay rendered and colourwashed brick building at 222 High Street and is Grade II listed. The later single storey extension to the south is brick-built with a red pantiled roof and modern arch-topped windows and door. The gable end is faux half-timbered. This is the current single-room pub packing a great atmosphere and is dog friendly.
The roof is of black-glazed pantiles to the front, and has C20th red pantiles to the rear. There are gable end stacks each of two flues, that to the north having been rebuilt. The central half-glazed C20th door in a timber doorcase is flanked by 8/8 unhorned sash windows. On the first floor similar sashes flank a central 6/6 unhorned sash. To the rear is a two-storey, flat-topped extension.
The chef is Italian and makes his own pizzas in a wood-fired oven, they are authentic, reputedly the best in Aldeburgh! Eat in or Take-out.
