The statue, `Spirit of ANZAC` is of a bronzed ANZAC soldier in boots, shorts and hat with a regimental flag draped over a broken gun barrel. The statue bwas originally erected at the Returned Soldiers and Sailors Woollen Mill in Pakington Street, Chilwell in 1929, and moved to it's present location in 1982, the statue commemorates those who served in World War One.
