Station Olst is a station between Zwolle and Deventer serving Staatslijn A (Arnhem - Leeuwarden: 166,2km). The station was opened on 01-10-1866.
Similar to nearly all stations on government lines, a standard building was built in Olst. With a low number of local inhabitants the building was of the type 5th class, the smallest design. In 1899 the building was increased. During a big sanitation in the 1970s complete lines had to do without any buildings, as did this station. In 1975 a simple shelter was replaced.
