Philippine American Celebration showcases local, national and international performing artists

Organized by the Philippine American Celebration Committee (PACC) for the Balboa Park Centennial, the event features traditional and contemporary performances, exhibitions, food and more.
International singer Martin Nievera will perform opening night and “American Idol” runner-up Jessica Sanchez will headline a full day of music, dance and comedy on Saturday. Dance performances continue Sunday.
The House of the Philippines will host other events June 8-12, culminating with a flag-raising ceremony to mark 117 years of Philippine independence.

2015 Philippine American Celebration
When: Noon to 9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Where: Spreckels Organ Pavilion, 1549 El Prado and the House of Pacific Relations lawn area, 2125 Park Blvd., Balboa Park.
Cost: Free."
