This one-story red brick building is located at 801 Franklin Street. The fenestration is four double paned three-over-four windows with white wood decorative shutters on either side of each window. In the center of the building and separating the windows evenly is a pair of wood and glass doors with a semicircular glass transom above. There is a small arched gable above the top step. The cornice is dentilated, and the entablature below reads:
United States Post Office Pella, Iowa.
The date stone is on the left hand side of the building. It reads:
