"Snake bites woman in Balboa Park

SAN DIEGO — A woman was bitten by a snake Sunday afternoon in Balboa Park.
Her injuries were likely not serious, said a dispatcher with San Diego Fire-Rescue.
An ambulance was called around 1:45 p.m. and she was taken to a hospital.
The incident happened near the Natural History Museum and Village Place, a road that leads into the park.
It was not immediately known what kind of snake it was."
