This benchmark is a grey metal disk embedded in the top of the concrete wall on the northwest corner of the Consolidated Canal as it crosses under Southern Ave. In an arch over the top of the disk are the words SALT RIVER PROJECT. Below that is inscribed 31.2 E. Below that1.0 N. At the bottom of the disk is 1993 and below that BM. The disk is approximately 12 feet north of the northern edge of the bridge on its west side.
