D52 is a medium sized dolmen consisting of six including three capstones, and 3 rest between fourteen side stones. There are two two keystones and a stone gate. The other port stone is the place marked with a lead seal. Missing one capstone. The inventory by Van Giffen in 1918 the dolmen there was "entirely in disrepair" when. The scattered scattered stones deserved the name dolmen anymore. Under his leadership, the dolmen in 1953/54 fully restored, with most side stones had to be re-established and firmly put. Today archaeologists find that Van Giffen here in his restoration drift has gone too far. He was himself the function of six stone no longer define and even the original number of casing stones were unknown to him. Yet now there is again an almost complete dolmen. However, more the result of guesswork than of responsible restoration.
In November 2008, three capstones daubed with blue paint. The damage is repaired as soon thereafter as possible. In early April 2011, a fire burned in the crypt, causing a large crack originated in one of the supporting stones. This will be fixed asap. By encroaching vegetation the dolmen field more and more a shelter for street kids with fringes all unwanted consequences. Therefore, the vegetation around the monument in the course of 2011 removed.
The dolmen is located along the Groningerweg in Diever. There is a name-plaque and an information column which approximately June 2006, the "info" is scrapped off.
