I recovered this cadastral survey cap from 1977 in good condition. It is located south of Butte Falls Rd, a short distance east of the junction to Willow Lake Rd if you're heading east. The cap is mounted on a 3" pipe projecting about 4 inches above the ground. From the stamping on the cap face, this 1/4 section corner marks the point defining Sections 27 and 34 in Township 35 South, Range 3 East. The cap has no designation stamping but has the year '1977' stamped on its face. The area around the cap is clearly marked with bearing trees, with two trees spraypainted with a red horizontal/vertical stripes, about 15 feet away from the cap. There is also a metal witness post standing near the cap. My posted coordinates should place you very close to this cap.
Type of survey mark: 3.5" brass cap mounted on a steel post

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
At least four bearing trees with yellow placards are located about 15 feet around cap. There is also a metal witness post near the cap to aid in recovery.

What property is this mark defining?:
This 1/4 section corner marks the point defining Sections 27 and 34 in Township 35 South, Range 3 East.
