Harry's Trail

The Pond Trail was renamed Harry's Trail in memory of
Harry Giroux
(December 1942 - January 2001)

Harry was the Hayward Lake Recreation Area Warden
from 1985-2001. Harry was instrumental in
constructing this trail and readily shared his love
for nature with thousands of school children
on interpretive walks around this pond.
