In addition to being a “world’s largest”, this whimsical sculpture adds flair to the decadent Supreme Court of Ohio and surrounding government complex.

The Gavel is one of two art installations within courtyards adjacent to the Supreme Court of Ohio building. The sculpture reflects the decision-making authority of the Supreme Court. The sculpture is constructed of stainless steel with a concrete was funded through a grant by the Ohio State Bar Association.
