A statue of the Blessed Holy Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ's mother, sits near the church's presbytery. It is set on a flat rock based mantle.

In earlier years, parishioners ... rain or shine ... used to face this statue and recite the rosary during the month of May, the month traditionnaly dedicated to Mary.
