Hilgenriedersiel liegt inmitten des Nationalparks niedersächsisches Wattenmeer. Die Tafel in der Nähe des Parkplatzes markiert den Eingang zum Naturschutzgebiet und zeigt die wichtigsten Zug- und Standvögel. Ein Weg führt zur Naturbadestelle. Entlang der Deiche sind Rad- und Spazierwege, von denen aus man sehr gut Vögel beobachten kann.
Hilgenriedersiel is located within the national parc wadden sea. This info board marks the entrance into the protective area and shows two important migratory birds. There is the possibility for swimming nearby. Marked hiking and biking trails along the dykes allow bird watching.
