The bell tower belongs to the Igrexa de Santa María Salomé. The tower has a rectangular shape, is made of stone and is placed in the middle of the main facade of the Church.
This Medieval Church is locates in the Old Town of Santiago de Compostela that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In the wall of the church the is a Historical marker that reads:
"Medieval Church from the 12th century with later additions to the porch and belfry. The façade features Gothic representations of the "viegen de la Leche" and a surprising Annunciation, with traces of the original polychromy. Baroque altarpiece inside with "curious" little angels. The only church in Spain dedicated to the Apostle James mother."
