In the wall of the church the is a Historical marker that reads:
"Medieval Church from the 12th century with later additions to the porch and belfry. The façade features Gothic representations of the "viegen de la Leche" and a surprising Annunciation, with traces of the original polychromy. Baroque altarpiece inside with "curious" little angels. The only church in Spain dedicated to the Apostle James mother."
