Pinehurst / Byron Park is so named because it adjoins Pinehurst Crescent and Byron Bay. Paved walking and biking paths through the park provide a connection between these streets, and a connection between Byron Bay and Golf Boulevard. The park contains a playground, an open green, a softball diamond, and a grove of shade trees.
On online maps, the park is usually listed as Pinehurst Park, but the sign and the city website show that the correct name is Pinehurst / Byron Park.
