Commemorating the United States of America's Bicentennial, the County of Kingfisher has established this memorial at the front of the County Sheriff's Department.
A ten foot high light-colored brick wall, slightly curved, stands behind the monument area. On this wall are two bronze plaques reading:
Kingfisher County
1776 Bicentennial 1976
Memorial Monument
Dedicated to All Generations
"A Past to Remember
A Future to Mold
And God to Glorify"

For our Freedom
The Farmer
He Feeds the World
The Bell

The Bell is From the Old Lacy School
Given by Kathryn and Cecil Enix in Memory of
Her Parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Earl Gulker
In front of this wall stands a bronze sculpture of a farmer, mounted on a three foot high brick base. The farmer is leaning on a pitchfork. At the front of the memorial area is a shorter wall on which is mounted a silver bell which came from the Old Lacy School, which is rung from time to time by the City.
