The figures are located on each of the four corners of the Market Square intersection in downtown Williamsport. There 10 life sized statues which depict Little League through the years.
While the statues do not represent anyone specifically they all have a meaning. The first, second and third basemen are in uniforms of the teams in 1939. The runner at second base is an Asian boy representing Little League teams in Asia. The first base runner is a Hispanic girl representing the growth of Little League in Mexico and other Latin America countries. The 3rd base runner wearing leg and arm braces is the Challenger program.
