The bronze disc embedded in the pavement at the Oakwell Trailhead of the Robert L. B. Tobin Park in San Antonio, TX gives the cardinal direction indicators in the center and minor directional indicators around the outer edge of the disk. Also on the disk is the elevation of the location and the global positioning coordinates. The coordinates are not presented as N degree, minutes, seconds W degree, minutes, seconds, so they were converted to that form for the questions below. The marker presents the coordinates as: 29.50222, -98.42060. I used GoogleMaps to find what the equivalent position was using the N / W coordinate method.
For finding the onsite coordinates while standing over the disc, I used my official phone Geocaching app in compass navigation mode to read the "current location" coordinates. Walked off and back again from several directions to confirm the center of the disc location was consistent.

Difference between the post coordinates and your GPSr reading: my phone app GPS = N29 30.134 W098 25.236
marker location = N29 30.133 W098 25.236
Therefore, my GPS reading was too far North by 0.001 seconds and too far West by 0.000 seconds.
Reason for the coordinates: The coordinates repesent the beginning of the Oakwell Trailhead of the Robert Tobin Park that is the southern part of the 1.5 mile long park. From here, a hiker or biker can begins a linear park trail which interconnects with the Salado Creek Greenbelt in
