Standing in front of the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Department is a commemoration monument to the Bicentennial of the United States. It consists of a bell, plaques, and this sculpture.
The sculpture is of a farmer. Dressed in his work clothes, with suspenders and a hat, he is holding a pitchfork. A nearby plaque commemorating the nation's Bicentennial in 1976 is dedicated to all generations. The farmer's inclusion is stated: "The Farmer - He Feeds the World."
The sculpture is bronze and stands on a three foot high brick base, with a bronze top on which the farmer is standing. The pitchfork is in a bronze pile of - we can only hope - dirt.
