Puente de Piedra (Stone Bridge) is one of the four bridges over the river Ebro as it passes through Logrono, La Rioja capital. It is also known as Bridge of San Juan de Ortega, referring to the chapel that existed on the left bank (in honor of the saint who was believed the builder of the original bridge). Current construction by Fermín Manso de Zuniga dates from 1884, after the collapse of the old bridge in 1871.
