Kingfisher Park is located on Highway 33, on the east edge of Kingfisher. The park was established in the 1930's and was constructed as a WPA Project. Some native stone picnic benches and a pedestrian suspension bridge from this era can be seen.

The park has an 18-hole golf course, playgrounds, picnic areas with BBQ pits, a baseball diamond, and a large aquatic center. The covered pavilions may be reserved by calling the City Clerk's office at 405-375-3705. A highlight of the park is a train which winds through the park. The train ride can also be reserved for parties.

The Vernie Snow Aquatic Center has open swim times, monthly and yearly memberships, and can be rented for parties. Check this site for times and prices (visit link)

A major event each year is "Kingfisher in Lights" - a nice Christmas lights display which begins the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and is open through December 31st.

This park is well worth a visit when you're in town.
