RI #17896 is located behind a chain link and barbed wire fence one block west of N. Main Street (Hwy 81), on W. Roberts Road.
This is a standard cupola caboose painted red and yellow. The name "Rock Island" and the number are painted on the side. The caboose is for display only and not available to the public.
