This shows the routes taken by the armies of Clinton and Sullivan during the Revolution to fight the Indians allied with the British. There are portraits of General Sullivan and General Clinton.

There was a treaty that set a line for Indian Territory that was east of Binghamton. It was only after the Revolution and this campaign that the area was settled by colonials.
