Dans le cimetière de Saint-Timothée on trouve quelques monuments spéciaux dont un Chemin de Croix à 14 stations. un monument en zinc et un très bel obélisque d'environ vingt pieds.
Ce monument funéraire est quand même plus gros que les autres. Narcisse Papineau fut un marchand prospère à Saint-Timothée et époux de Marie-Marguerite-Adèle Gaucher. Leur fils, Louis-Joseph Papineau (1861-1932) fut député libéral fédéral pendant de nombreuses années entre 1908 et 1931.
Sur une seule des 4 faces de la base de cet obélisque se trouve du texte et il est le suivant :

In the cemetery of Saint Timothée are found some special monuments including a 14 stations Via Crucis, a zinc monument and a beautiful obelisk, approximately twenty feet tall.
This monument is bigger than the others. Narcisse Papineau was a successful merchant in Saint Timothy and married Marie-Marguerite-Adèle Gaucher. Their son, Louis-Joseph Papineau (1861-1932) was Liberal MP for many years between 1908 and 1931.
There is writing on only one of the faces of the base of the obelisk. It is as follows :
