FRIENDS' MEETING HOUSE. East Broadway and Walnut Streets 1772. Architect-William Ellis; Builders-William and Isaac Oakford; 2 ½ story brick; 12 X 9 windows; small pedimented porticos over entrances; oldest house of worship in Salem.


Salem Friends Meeting House is very well-maintained and in very good condition. The building continues to serve its original role.
